I am pleased to say that Gary did find a pin hole in the new head. I'm glad he did find a problem so that it can be fixed. He's working on the fix now which is a new head. I intend to remove and dis-assemble the engine in order to be sure it's clean and undamaged. I want to replace the oil pump and probably the rings. I will see if the bearings are OK also.
Then I will know it's ready to rock-n-roll ! It'd be a shame to put it together and decide the oil pump was damaged. It's been apart plenty already. I certainly do know every nut and bolt now. Aw heck we all know it's fun so who cares :-)
