Well best stay away from the Cordova's, PETA has really been getting down

YES! it is a 2009 Dodge Ram, and I found out it's a very bad idea
to use 2009 + as its a variable cam and difficult to get the whole system to
work correctly even with a donner. This is according to Randy Bouchilon
"you can not run or manage the engine due to it being a VCT engine. You
will need to purchase a 2007 or earlier NON VCT engine.....MDS engines are ok,
you don't use that section anyway. We do sell the flexplate that will work
with the torqueflite which does not require an adapter..........."
So....I will just use what I have, nothing wrong with what I have
anyway. Herb helped me with all the info I need for a conversion and I
saved it all in a file for the future. One day I'd like to do it.
But for now I will be happy with what I have.
Next hurdle is the seats, still haven't found ones I like that will
fit. I'll keep looking. If I could find a 300 Letter car buckets
and console I'd do it. but that's not easy.
I hope she is painted in the next 3 weeks.

any updates on the engine/tranny?
I was working on mine today, I took 3 tail light bezels, 3 reverse
light bezels and my outside remote mirror apart and droped them off at the
chrome place near the house. When I get Donalds wing window parts I
will take them with my wing windows, turn signal bezels, and headlight
bezels to get done and pick up the tailights. It was a good day on
for the car. I can't wait till she gets painted so I can start
putting her backtogether again. --
