Well you can't find a bigger hammer?
Why not use a puller?
Sure it matters.

It came about half way, seems like brake shoes were pressed against it. I've never done these before and i cant find the hole for the adjusting screw, nor do I have the space :-/. While hammering a piece of the drum broke off, not where the brake runs against just the outside part. You think it will matter?? I've included a pic.
