I will put in .02 cents and make sure this is long enough to make
it 's worth 8-) I started saving all my reciepts when I built the
56 C hrysler. And it's the same way woth my 64 Dodge now. After a
short while I quit saving them unless there might be a parts return I
realized that :
You will NEVER get your money back from a daily driver.
You and especially your wife would be shocked at how much the actual
cost is.
Your satisfaction with hunting parts, building the car, and all that
goes with it -- must be a substancial amount.
I don't plan on selling either of my cars unless neither of us can
drive it. and if my Son or Grandaughter doesn't want it.
I don't use any of the regular family income. I swap and sell parts
If I get some unexpected income, I might use that. That is why my
project is taking so
long!!
To bad our money spent on the project is not tax deductible- Then all
of us would save reciepts!! I can see how if selling your car, it
would be good to give them to the buyer . But then you would know how
much money you lost and just sit down and
bawl!.......................MO

Please address private mail -- mail
of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
