Subject: Painting my 65 Coronet
Looks like I have an opportunity to get my Coronet painted over the
winter...for CHEAP! I've seen this guys work before and he does a
PHENOMENAL job! He works for a local body shop and they let him us a
bay for side work. They also let him use their paint booth on the
weekends so he can cook it properly. Apparently he's looking for work
(and $) so he's only charging $25/hr cash. I'm looking at ~$1,500 for
any body work needed (which is VERY minimal), and paint work, and I'll
getting a formal number over the weekend. Money is really
tight right
now since the wife is not working but I don't think I can pass this
one up!!! I can't wait!!!
