Eric and all, Yes you can do that if you click on "reply" and then reply to the original message and continue the discussion. The thread gets unraveled only when the "reply" technique is used to start a completely different discussion subject. The text that is there from previous mails gives a clue as to what the topic was. It is okay to delete all or most of the text because there is a lot of clutter in multiple replies adding footer over footer. Having a subject that matches the actual discussion of course really helps understand the discussion thread.
