Dodger makes a good point, measure twice...buy once. I learned this when I sold from my 63' Fury the American Torque Thrust 15x7 with 255/70R-15 tires to my buddy with a 64' Polara. There was not enough room with the newer 69' B-body axle housing. In fact the largest tire he could fit was a 235/70R15.
I now run Crager SS 15x7 part #61715, 4 1/8" back space on my 63' Fury. My tire is a BFG 285/70R-15 Radial TA. I use a 3/8" spacer between the brake drum and wheel to move the wheel outwards for a little more clearance to the leaf spring. I can still put my hand between the tire and body.
There were several different rear-end housing widths used on B-bodies.
62-70 B-body spring perches are the same - 44"
Drum to Drum is what you have to measure;
1962 - 1963 B-body - 58 1/2"
1964 - 1967 B-body - 59 1/2"
1968 - 1970 B-body - 60 1/8"
