Sketchy Idle/acceleration

Hey guys, wondering why my car idle/acceleration isn't as smooth as I would think it should be, its a little sketchy.... I changed the hoses, belts, fuel filter, oil filter and thermostat.  I know that most of that doesn't have anything to do with it, but I thought i'd mention what i've done lately.  Let me know guys!  Thanks, Zach
