Eric,
IMO be careful of that E-Bay filter. Look at the guarantees between that filter and the Wix-a national brand.

My other idea was to run a a remote oil filter setup like a PH8A.
Would that cause a line pressure drop though?

Or, can the '62 tranny be adapted to take a pan filter like the later
models?

Or.... how well do the inline magnetic filters work?
