I can't tell, from talking to some guys at work they think it's a metal clip that slides inside the chrome. N that i should use a crowbar like thing and pry the chrome up where the clips are and pop it off. Then remove clips from dash, when I'm ready to put back just slide them back and pop whole chrome piece back on the dash. That makes me nervous lol. Last time I popped chrome off something I bent it :-/.
