Kevin,The washer doesn't need a locating tab since nothing touching it rotates-unlike the front wheel spindle.

Do the washers have a tab on them to go into the keyway or are they just flat washers? I need to know what to look for in the garage. Thanks, K. I have a photo that I took about 10 years ago of the brakes and axle but it does not clearly show a washer. It makes sense to me that there should be one but perhaps not. Any of you folks know for sure. Thanks, K. -- -- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
