Hello, Just as DJ said, these should be little spring clips that are attached to the back of the dash pad and push through holes in the dash. They will come out easier if someone pushes from the back side as you pull up on the pad. Places like Harbor Freight have kits of tools for removing trim, you might want to check them out. The danger is breaking the dash pad. I have no idea on yours but on my 63 Sport Fury there is an actual metal frame in the dash pad. The foam may seem good but I suspect that if you try to work with it or take it apart it may need to be replaced. Good luck finding a good local shop that can help you with it. If you checked "Just Dashes" you have had the sticker shock of having them do the job. I'm sure they do very good work but $$$$$$. Keep having fun with your car. Dennis C. It doesn't say in the shop manual, and after looking I can't figure it out. I was gonna go ahead and see how to do it when I finally save up the money and get the stomach to pay the ridiculous amount to get it repaired. Man I wish there was another way. :-( > > Sent from my iPhone -- -- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
