I learned about sonic test on wall thickness when I built my Poly stroker. A seasoned block, sonic test to .110, my engine was bored .090, from 3.91 to 4.0.

Can just do 60 overbore If memory serves correct and that will be stock 426 bore.....memory is fading but I think thats what it is.When I had mine machined it cleaned up at 10 over so I just special ordered some Childs and Alberts.--

New higher compreesion piston are available from sealed power, but
the are cast pistons--expensive as having custom pistons made. The
plus side: forged steel crank and stronger block with outside the
