Hi Wayne, is this the same Goodrich company that also makes tires?

You are lucky to work for a company like that and live in a place like North Dakota. I live on a secluded lot up in the woods but it is 42 miles to work in South Seattle.

2002 was a hairy time for aerospace. That was about the time I had to drop out of the mopar group mail list, I did not realize how long it has been. BCA laid off 30,000 employee's, I barely made it wthout getting laid off myself. I lucked out getting to work for BDS as Tool Design/Liaison support for AEW&C in 2003. However, after the 1st of the year BCA came in and took over the building I am working in, so it has come full circle, I am working for BCA now as Tool Design/Liaison support for 787 composite tooling. I do not get to work on the airplanes anymore, just parts, but work is work.

My son parked his car a couple of years ago, no time and could not afford it while attending UW studying Mechanical Engineering. He went through graduation ceremonies in June but has one more quarter to complete the degree. He recently went back to work on the wagon to revive it, sitting for a couple of years did not do it any good, it needs al ot of TLC

> I am still at Goodrich but as a drafting checker and drafter when needed. Back in 02 was laid off when we were TRW. Laid off for only 1-1/2 weeks and went to engineering contracting for 1-1/2 years than hired back in engineering.
>
> We are currently working on a redesign of the cargo system for the ch-47, 787-9 cargo system and the a380 cargo system.
>
> We have a overflow design center in Bangalor India for all of Goodrich Corp and back in Feb I visited there for 1 week trying teach them our ways. No luck.
>
> Got our last daughter married off this weekend in town here. Whew, glad I got the car done first.
>
> So how have you been? Whats new with your cars? also how is it going with your sons wagon, does he still have it? That is a nice one.
