Well Bill, not sure about the lifters.  But there's one thing you left out.  Is your car still a cable shift?  If so you will either have to get a big block cable shift tranny or fabricate a complete set of tranny shifting linkage.  If it's the latter, you will also have to do some major under dash modifying as well.  Also is your car a colum shift?  I went through this crap about 2 years ago when we put a 440 in my 65 Polara.  If its anything like mine, you`re going to almost wish you didn`t do it.  But also, if it`s anything like mine, you`re gonna love the end result!!  I await your reply.
