Re: Sand Casting

The last time I did casting was in high school, I'm pretty sure the
school has since dissolved any kind of hands-on education, what a
waste.

It was a special sand that had oil mixed in, and I believe we were
melting pewter or some other soft metal to make a 6" dime that hangs
on the wall. Imperfections showed very easily to say the least lol!
