Both pieces are pot metal. The insert is chromed pot metal with black and argent silver paint to make the chrome ribs "pop".

Fellows and Gal's:

I am getting ready to finish the final phase on the center console.
The part that contains the shifter lever appears to be aluminum,
brushed with black stripes and chrome for the bulge that contains the
shifter and position in dictator. Then the second piece a round the
edge is chrome, Pot Metal?, with the indented part painted black on
the bottom.

What i am asking is there a reasonable priced metal chrome, Alum.
Brush, and painter for this project, BAM????????????????

Jim

P.S. What is this talk about Hollywood People, RE Power Steering
Leaking/ Did I miss something?
