That’s what I was interested in the 331 conversion. From what I had read the head was the restriction for more power From: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]
On Behalf Of Joseph Lemire Hi Bill, I will keep you in the loop as much as I am with the duke, I have always had a tremendous amount of respect for them and have ported a couple heads for them over the years. This duke is a little different, it is getting a 331 Hemi
which entails remachining the rockers and the head a little and a complete owner fabricated intake and exhaust arrangement but that is what Bonneville is all about. I kind of volunteered some time here because I love Bonneville and it has quite a few years since I ran there, 1989 to be exact in which our team set a record that stood for a decade. I strongly recommend everyone visit the salt flats at least once, it is the best time. On Behalf Of Joseph Lemire Yeah, I missed you guys. I spent part of my summer vacation porting 318 Poly heads for a couple of friends. I bowl ported site member Jason Rhoades heads in which he did a fine
job of finishing the port match etc. and this weekend I finished working on Wayne Borgen's heads. The head is the photo is Wayne's. I also ported a head for a Bonneville car that is powered by a 331 hemi head adapted to a GM Iron Duke block. The owner is a machinist and is making some cool fuel injection pieces
and roller rockers for it. Joey On Mon, Aug 8, 2011 at 12:25 PM, Dave64 <lt7dave@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
