Guess I can't tell you what is wrong, but I can tell  you it isn't
"right".  No reason for a vibration/noise.  Not to be overly simple,,
but the drum isn't loose on the axel is it ?
Since you're looking for a puller, I'd guess they are tight. I'd guess
a bearing, but I've never had one go bad.  Sounds like it needs fixing
though.
