Re: Milling heads



I've done as much as 60 thousandths problem was I figured out my block had been cut on the head surface also   The combination of both being cut down made it real difficult to get stock push rods to work. If you know the block is uncut I and several around here have found it safe to go as much as 60.  But I would make sure the machine shop cuts the intake side of the heads also that way like you said you don't want to cut the intake itself
