Re: 63 glovebox owners manual - the bagpipe player

As a Scotsman I can confirm the stereotype.  Their is an old saying "As frugal as a Scotsman" that was utilized back in the good old days before all this politically correct psychobable of today.

Subject: 63 glovebox owners manual - the bagpipe player

So I took a few friends out to lunch today in my 63.  I still have the
original owners manual in the console.  Towards the end is a chapter
on "How to improve gasoline economy".  It includes what I always
thought was an odd and fairly random image of a guy playing the bag
pipes.  I pointed it out to my friends who were thumbing through the
manual.  One of them suggested it's a Scotsman who are stereotyped for
being 'frugal'.  Can anyone confirm or deny that this is what Chrysler
had in mind?
