They have a horseriding stable there and I rented a horse there. They had a pet deer (a little one at the time) with little horns and tame. he ate with the horses and they all lived happily together, just like in the Fairy Tales.
Anyway, they also had a nice sized pond there to take the amphicars in. I didn't see them work, but i saw the mudline on the cars . Iknew that at least one of them worked by the mudline on the sides of the cars. Both seemed to be in good condition. I didn't give the a real good looking over but I was driving very slowley on the red dog road and eyeing up those amphicars.
Gary H., who answered your question (at this time last) and the guy who knows more about anything is the leader. Not the only one helping out but I want to thank them all anyway. Anything you want to do with a MOPAR someone else has already done what you are going to do and gives them an answer. You can take their experience or leave it. No one is trying to force you to do anything. You can take the advice or not, its up to you.
I'll put in my 2cents worth later (but I like to be a hog) and put in my 10 cents worth. Later. I have some dumb shit to straighten out now.
Welcome aboard to all the new guys (this site ain't even old) and later I'll give anyone help that I can if it is the same shit I have already done.
I swear sometimes. Like a bad penny, I'll be back if I know anything about your or any elses' problems. It takes a lot of time to be so long-winded too.

Missouri water? You can think about a conversion to this: http://www.amphicars.com/berlin07/_0528berlin400095.htmlBut that conversion would take a lot of work on a 1964 Dodge. Heh heh. I did see a picture of a "start" project for the second one of those built in the UK: http://www.amphicars.com/DSCF4005a.JPG Wow. And I thought 62-65 Mopar cowl repairs were a pain!
Seriously, I bet if you contact the police they can tell you if the drag strip is open. Hope so, and let us know how it turns out! And fell better too.
Thanks, Gary H.
-------Original Message------- I have been working on cam degreeing and a few upgrades to LeRoar. I wouldhave been done but got the doggone upper respiratory thing again. I'm better but still not up to par. We are having some serious flooding issues all up and down the Missouri river. I was afraid the dragstrip would be history but I just called andthe recording listed the activities for this week. I feel thety would have deleted or modified the message if they were flooded. I do want to get out there and test the new stage one set-up before going on to the next set-up.Stage one being the new cam only and stage two being the addition of the new heads. The heads are still in the works.Dodger and I talked this morning and discussed the possibility of going toKearney sometime to run the 1/4 mile. We agree that it's probably too far to drive LeRoar to race as it would be a problem if something took adump. When this happens he offered to trailer me out there. That should befun. And I'd like to see what it really will do in the 1/4 instead of just using the old 1.57 times 1/8th mile time to figure the probable 1/4 time. I think I will be back to LeRoar on Thur or Fri this week. It'll be interesting to fire up the new set-up and hear the difference between the cams.--
