Ted, If you don't have a wiring diagram for your car and per your post it looks like it is a 65 Coronet check this site: http://www.mymopar.com/60to65_wiring.htm Diagram "B" shows the ballast resistor and the 4 wires attached to it. This is a nice site, it has a nice selection of wiring diagrams for our cars. Dennis C.
