Re: Off subject -cast iron



I had one of the motor mount ears snap off on my 440. On the driver's side which 
get the most load.  I'm sure it's under stress. Had it welded back on and seems 
to be perfect.   


As far as how well the POR-15 works, never used it.  Their literature shows it 
being used on an exhaust manifold. Will it stand the test of time? - dunno.
