Well, lets see if this works. The dillemna: Car is a 64 Barracuda with nothing original to it really anymore. I noticed between 1964 and 1965 wiring diagrams, that the starters were wired in different ways- similar but slightly different. the '64 has a heavy lead from the battery directly to the starter solenoid, and no fusible link between firewall and starter relay , but... in 65 they split the positive lead, one heavy lead going to starter solenoid as before , but another going to starter relay as well. That and there's a fusible link between starter relay and firewall. Which way should I do it? I am confused. Don't ask how it was wired when I got it, the wiring was so hacked up that I cant use that as any sort of guide. I drew some schematics here for both years to refresh memories Thank you, and cussing once again underneath a Plymouth somewhere neal ZImmerman, Eugene oregon PS: let me know if the attachments come through. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "The 1962 to 1965 Mopar Mail List Clubhouse" group.
