My bad, I mean the return line fitting on the gear box, not the pump. ----- Reply message ----- From: "Butch Edison" <waedison@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, Mar 15, 2011 3:03 pm Subject: Power steering hose fitting To: "Herb" <zephyr9900@xxxxxxxxxxx>, "1962to1965mopars" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> 1964 Plymouth sport fury 383 w/power steering. What angle should the fitting be for the 5/8" return hose? 90, 60 , or 45 degrees? ----- Reply message ----- From: "Herb" <zephyr9900@xxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Tue, Mar 15, 2011 8:55 am Subject: Loooong rams in a B? To: "1962to1965mopars" <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> My understanding was they would on a RB and not using a B engine. Not saying this is fact just a memory from the past. But the RB setup has the manifolds sitting higher and narrower over all. As opposed to the same setup on a B block Herb 1956 Plymouth Belvedere 361 4-Sale 1959 Coronet 326 Poly 1961 Belvedere Custom Suburban 318 Poly 1962 Dodge Dart 225 Slant Six 4-Sale 1963 Fury 2D/HT 6.1L 1963 Sport Fury Convertible 361 1970 Chrysler 300 Hurst 440 1999 Durango SLT 5.9L 2008 SRT-8 Magnum 6.1L St. Louis, MO. http://1962to1965mopar.ornocar.com/mmo42009.html -------Original Message------- From: Gary H. My friend Jimmy and I were both under the impression that the long rams would not fit in a B-body engine compartment without modifying the inner fenders, but these pictures seem to refute that notion. http://www.hotrodhotline.com/classifieds/classifieds.php?a=2&b=32977 Has anyone here done the swap or know how these intakes snuggle into the 62-65 B Body engine compartment?
