Maybe his puller just isn't good enough? Did you check out the puller
thats listed on the site made for taking the drums off? I snapped the
bleeder off in my rear wheel cyl as well on my '62, and was able to
get the drums right off with a normal 3-jaw puller. I made small
notches in the lip on the drum to get a little better bite. Car sat
for 18years before I got it and really didn't have too much trouble
with it.
