RE: Hood scoop progress

I twisted Dodger's arm and 62pluckedchicken but both can't make it.

I am going to bend down the metal around the scoop opening on the hood
about an inch and then probably pop rivet the scoop to it. I was even
thinking of tek screws but was worried they might work loose.

I am going to paint the interior of the scoop black. I'm undecided about
the hood itself and the scoop. Maybe I could put some of the 318poly
decals, like the valve covers, on the sides. (Schyler, I'll need some
more.) I have been thinking of the light blue color like the interior.
I'd like to do the strip in between the Polara side chrome in that blue
color someday and maybe the middle of the trunk lid too. That'll make
the car seem less like a major appliance. I'm not a fan of white!

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
