If the drip is on the right side it's probably your dipstick tube O ring needs replacing. On the left side or drivers side it could be speedo gear housing O rings or shift cables O rings. It is very common/normal for the converter to bleed down from gravity over time. The car is on the edge between a parts car and a driver and currently it is not being driven often. When it sits for a few weeks I have to keep a pan under the transmission, I'll get a good puddle of trans fluid. I finally put it on jack stands and decided to try to find the leak. I have the car level as it would be on the wheels. I checked the fluid running in neutral and it was 1/2 pint low. I checked the oil level after a couple of weeks without starting it and now it is 2 1/2" above the full mark. Is this normal and if not is the torque converter leaking down and overfilling the transmission? So far I have not had the time to get under the car and try to find where it is leaking from.
