It was one heck of an "explosion" when the radiator hose blew off the thermostat housing. There is a real tick installing these type of hoses. After some modification all is now well. I used the Spectra hose but I must say the Kool-Flex is alot better hose, but a big price difference. I have learned a long time ago to just fill with distilled water, fix all leaks, them put in anti-freeze. The heater hose power grips work and look great. I am planning on using them 100% on my Rambler.
Ollie PS: I have figured out that is a messy way to cook rice!----- Original Message ----- From: "Rich Kinsley" <rlkinsley@xxxxxxxxx>

Ollie didn't mention his 'secret weapon'. He has a trick way to cook the Ricer cars. He let's the top hose blow off the t-stat and throw hot water on the Rice rockets. Instant rice cooker :-) Rich Kinsley '64 Dodge Polara 4dr 318poly w/goodies ====================================================================== Ollie wrote:I am declaring Ms Cruiser's radiator and engine compartment upgrade complete. If I may be so bold as to toot my own horn, I think it looks fantastic. I really need some billeted aluminum hose separators to top it off.
