Re: 8 3/4 Diff.

Gas was a lot cheaper back then and it was a whole different time on the
streets, the MoPar clinics were in full swing and we had to try every mod
they suggested. Or that we could afford or fabricate a workaround! The
5:57 was great out of the hole but you pretty much ran out of motor at the
big end, unless you raced shorter than a quarter of a mile. For some reason
that I could never figure out there were a large number of people in
surrounding areas that ran short races?. So we compensated for the
environment and got paid at the end. The 4:56 was a better overall choice
but not as much fun at lights.  (;

herb, 456s are awesome, i could not imagine 557s. though my brother had a 70
nova 396 with 656 gears and he drove it on the street. but that was probably
20 years ago.       jeff

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
