Sounds like you have no fire to the ballast resistor while cranking, try running a hot wire to the ballast resistor and see if it doesn't start right up,,,,, I think you need to check to see if your wired for a four or five post module,,,, In a message dated 9/26/2010 8:23:05 P.M. It's always been a little balky, but it just refuses to go now. Last year it got a new Evans wiring harness underhood, along with a new distributor and box. Sometimes it would start fine, other times I'd have to bypass the ballast resistor. Now, with the resistor bypassed and the coil wire pulled and grounded to a header, it gives one spark when you turn the ket and one more when you release the key and that's it. I swapped in another control box and no improvement. Went over all the grounds, changed the coil and wire and still no better. Any suggestions?
