Those look really nice! 
Most guys I know just run them from the rear rails directly forward into the back of the torsion bar crossmember using 2x2 or 2x3 box tubing.

I may be biased since I make them but I like the factory look so I make them from 2 X 3 tubing the same gauge as the factory rails. I beg to differ but the front & rear rails are only slightly off center from each other, probably 1 inch. I tie them together starting 
at the rear they clamp the front of the rear frame rail & the floor panel together (which is where the spot welds break in the stock configuration) and go forward to the transmission crossmember. I designed them to look like they're extensions of the factor rails.
