RE: Carpet for my 1962 Dart

Brian,

1AAuto.com was the best for me when I replaced the carpet in my 62 Sport
Fury. It seems no one understands the 62's very well. Both the Sport
Fury and my 62 Dart 440 had cordovan colored carpet that was more of a
short shag, almost wool compared to anything that was available (I
checked with all the experts & non experts and looked at dozens of
swatches). I ended up just ordering black carpet - Chrysler did it on
4spd cars, so i figured it would be OK. The carpet was molded & fit
well, just needed some trimming at the rockers. Heel pad was pretty
darn close to the original carpets - carpet was drop shipped from ACC
(auto Custom Carpets)and was $136.00 with free shipping in July of 08.
