There was a discussion here not too long ago. Seems I recall one conclusion was to replace the 1965's pump and
input shaft with newer ones designed for the 360 converter. Or to buy an adapter bushing to fit the bigger 360 crank and 360 flex plate for a 727. http://www.tciauto.com/ sells them I believe. If I'm wrong someone will help out if this "wisdom" fails the test. :)
