Oxidation removal

I have some small white blemishes on my aluminum grill that my boss
claims is oxidation. Any thoughts on a safe way to remove this. I am in
the process of detailing and polishing up all of my chrome, stainless
etc. while the car is finally getting a new paint job.

I never paid much attention to it before but now that it is off of the
car and on the work bench now is the time to clean it up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
