Well, that is interesting . I do have a motorhome 413, but never have taken the cam cover off. The crank in question is from a 1964- 413 cop car going into a 1978 Chrysler 440 engine. Thanks for the heads up.................MO

Right, but if you(the OP) mean a later heavy truck/motor home 413 crank, it may not. Most(if not all) of those motors were reverse rotation with a gear driven cam. They will leak at the rear main seal because the 'sipes' cut into the crank to direct oil away from the seal will work backwards and flood the seal with oil. A crank shop can usually fix this.Mark----- Original Message ----- From: Dodger7998@xxxxxxxTo: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, August 2, 2010 9:19:34 PM Subject: Re: Crankshaft I am assuming you mean an earlier 413 crank,,,,,,, and yes they will interchange,,,, In a message dated 8/2/2010 6:08:19 P.M. I know the balancer and flywheel or torque converter would have to be changed. .................Thanks for any input.....................MO {Steve Mick} http://stevemick.shutterfly.com/pictures#Part%202---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
