Re: Rim/tire width

It will make a difference.  The tire will stand up and look much better. Not
like it needs air and also will be safer.  Seals on the rim better and not apt
to peel off in hard cornering.

Subject: Rim/tire width

I just got a new set of those Halibrand copies from Jegs yesterday, but
I don't like the fact that the front and rear rims look like the same
offset, even though the fronts are 7" and the rears are 8". What I'd
like to know is if anyone has ever mounted a 275/60/15 tire on a 10"
wide wheel? If so, how much tire bulge was there? Right now those tires
are mounted on a pair of 8.5" Torguethrusts and they bulge 1" at the
face and rear.
