I feel different about the springs. I would install them as they are a sound and vibration dampners. When the drum expands from heat they stop the noise that can happen. Just my opinion. And learned from experince. ----- Original Message ---- From: Herb <zephyr9900@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: 1962 to 1965 Mopars <1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thu, July 22, 2010 5:52:32 AM Subject: Re: Spring on hub question If they don't squeal or vibrate when stopping don't worry. I would set the springs aside just incase!! The media blast guy took them off when he blasted my hubs - painted everything nice but now I'm not sure how I'm going to put them back on and was wondering if it's necessary. Thanks in advance, Brian p.s. My new rear springs just showed up - might even have the '62 Dart back on the road tomorrow ( for a trip to the alignment shop ) :-) ---- Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
