Do the 440 clone. You will be much happier. You will need a big block pushbutton tranny though The 318 will not bolt up. Building a 440 is no different then a 426. All brackets and mounts will work and if you pay attention to detail, nobody will ever be able to tell the difference...except some of us, but we dont care.
