I found the clip for the flasher on the back of an extra ashtray housing. With that in position and the length of the harness wires, I’m somewhat able to rustle the stiff harness to locate the mounting spot for the fuse block. Except now with the original wire bends and wrap, the block seems to want to orient itself in an un-natural position (like, upside down?) and the U shaped re-enforcing channel along the dash inner edge causes interference for the fuse block to sit in any kind normal position. Would anyone know, in the way these blocks were originally mounted, was it common / necessary to unscrew the block from the dash to check/change fuses? Just sitting here at the keyboard thinking about it and the dash in the shop, what I might be thinking to be “upside down” might in-fact be right side up? Hum, I’ll check on that. Will let you know.
