Re: Info ‘64 fuses & sig =?Wind =?windows-1252?Q?ows

Fuse panels on these era Mopars were pretty much the same throughout the line. The only one that you have wrong is #1 - this one is for the radio and should be a 5 A. The fuse box is held in place by a single screw. Usually the flasher is mounted into a special mounting clip that clips around the ash tray/radio area. FYI, the #3 (if equipped with a fuse holder) is usually for the AC, spotlight, rear defroster, etc.

I’m trying to read the abbreviations and amp sizes as labeled on my fuse box from my ’64 Dodge B body. Age and handling partially obliterated some of the markings. This is what I was still able to read (or guess at) even with the harness and fuse block on the bench. Beginning from top to bottom,
(1.) Is unreadable but looks like size 75 A
(2.) Heat_AC 20A
(3.) Is BLANK (not wired / no fuse holder) Acc_RR-A/C 20A
(4.) Cigar_LTR 20A
(5.) Tail_Stop-DCR 20A
(6.) CLSTR_LPS 2A.
The owner’s manual has very limited info. I’ll start searching through other shop manuals to see what I find.
Secondly though, I’d like to know how this fuse block and the turn signal flasher was originally secured in place to the bottom edge of the dash under the radio control panel. I see three locking (mount?) tabs on the back of the block but can’t seem to locate three matching square holes anywhere to mount it. Same for the flasher unit. Where and how was this secured? I see a large raised shoulder on the block off to the side with a larger diameter recessed area and a smaller dia. through hole. I’m wondering if this might have once held a clip to insert/hold the flasher?
These were left to dangle freely by someone else and now I can’t seem to find where they belong.
Any help with the correct labeling, amp sizing and/or mounting method/ location would be well appreciated!
