Top Latch

Hi guys,
 I am looking for a top latch for a 1964 Dodge Custom 880  Convertible.  
This latch is located at the center of the front bow and  opens bottom to top.
  I have found that the latch from an Imperial is located in the same  
place but opens from top to bottom and not sure if this will work.
  Any one have one just sitting on a work bench or holding papers down  or 
know of where I can find a replacement?
