Re: crank test?




Stand the thing on end and then tap it with   small hammer or like tool.  If it rings then most likely it it ok.   If you get a dull thud then it is bad.  Probalby cracked.  Other than takeing it to a maschine shop that is only way I can tell.   Need to mic it to see if it is turnable or needs to be turned.
