Here is were you need to get psychology on your side!  Talk to them about
how stressful the lights are and remind them of your vast experience with
them, you don't want to red light, then do you have the slippery lane or the
sticky one, then don't come out to hard and just spin, then don't forget to
not shift, then don't over rev engine and so on and so on.  He will be so
busy worrying about all you planted in his mind he will mess up!!  Worked
more times than not, and beat a lot of cars that I should never have.  Or
should I say beat the driver not the car!

My tentative race date for this Friday has just become more interesting.
My good A-team member, Terry Bohnert, is hoping to meet me at the track
with his nasty '68 Barracuda the "Pink Panther". It's a 451 stroker
engine dynoed at about 530hp. A very nice little car and a huge "chick
magnet":-)  I don't expect to beat him but it should be fun. He has
never raced before so he better be on his toes or you never know. I beat
my stepson's Cobra 'Stang 3 times before he figured out how to do it!
Wish we had a video camera.
