Ollie, When you say straighten how bad can they fix? My rear bumper on the drivers side. is straight but someone backed into something and at is bent up alittle at the rise where the licence plate is. And the front has a indent where the old leather tow straps would be placed. I would like to get them straightened, but they still very good original chrome. Do you think there could straighten a bumper without rechroming them?? At least the rear bumper, as it is the most noticable. Both are class jobs. > The rear bumper was straighten and re-chromed. It was done in Alabama but unfortunaly Hurricane Katrina blew them away and the cost to rebuild, to be EPA friendly...well.. they just shut down. > > I purchased the front bumper thru our web site swap meet. It was posted by Bickel Motors, Des Moines, IA. Cannot remember the company name that did the work, but they were located in South Sioux City. Isn't that NE? They did an excellent job of straightening and re-chroming. I would highly recommend them. > > I am sure by E mailing bickelmotors@xxxxxxxxxxx you can find out the re-chromer as they have posted more bumpers since I got mine from them. Possibly they have a stock of bumpers too. > > A bumper has to be really bad before it cannot be straightened. I bought a bumper because i needed one for my Petty Stock Car project and it was the cheapest way for me to go. > > See what happens as you get older..remember the main story but the details are real foggy. > Can you help us out here Rich, thats your neck of the woods. > Ollie > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > > > ---- > Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
