Tire / spring height questions

I'm going to re-arch the springs on my 63 Polara 500.  I'm thinking I
want to run BFG Radial T/A's P275/60R15 in back and P225/70R15 in
front.

I currently have P215-75R14 tires.  The rims are stock.  Can I run 15
tires on those rims or am I restricted to 14?

I need to give the spring guy a height.  Since mine are so sagged, and
I don't have the tires, can someone with P275/60R15 give me a height
from ground to wheel well?  I know at least a few of you are running
BFG 275's.
