My '65 has a splined tailshaft with the front u-joint (Not B&T) bolted to it. The yoke splines onto the tailshaft, and a bolt goes in through it into the center of the tailshaft. This driveshaft is two piece with a rubber mounted bearing in the middle. I'm guessing the front yoke is bolted on to stabilize that two piece driveshaft. I haven't tried slipping a standard yoke on there to see if it works.
