Years ago there was available, a plate attached to a larger hose clamp . The plate had degrees marked on it , before and after a center 0 mark. You attached this device to your dist cap with the hose clamp near the base of the cap. Then there was a pointer that you mounted somewhere stationary. Set your timeing to zero and alighn the pointer to Zero on the attached plate. The ideah was to be able to adjust your timeing approximatly , without using a timeing light. I'm thinking that would be a quick-easy way to set your timeing at different places till you get the prformance you want , and then you can see with a timeing light just what actual timing is. Does anyone remember those and where could I get one? A Summit search came up with nothing, but I am a bad searcher..................................MO
