Crush Sleeves

We've been talking about rear gears lately and the inevitable topic of 
crush sleeves came up.  I remember seeing somewhere that someone sells a 
spacer to take the place of the crush sleeve which can be reused.  But 
can't remember now where it was. Can anyone help me?
